Painted Wolves

African wild dogs are among the hardest predators to find. Most sightings last a few seconds at the edge of camp. We tracked this pack through the Sabi Sand for three days. One morning, at first light, they came onto the road and stayed. In fifteen years of safaris, it's the only time I've spent time with a pack.
